Home » Girls' Basketball NewsLady Cats win Palmyra TournamentJanuary 22, 2013 By Bobby Spoonster of Bowling Green High SchoolThe Bowling Green Lady Bobcats won the 2013 Palmyra Tournament 42-28 over Monroe City. The Lady Cats struggled to score in firs half, but had great defensive intensity. The second half the Lady Cats began to settle in offensively while maintaining that same defensive intensity. The balanced Bobcat scoring was led by Kelsey Scherder with 11 points. The Lady Cats will be back in action Monday at the Bowling Green Tournament against Winfield.
