Home » Boys' Soccer NewsBoonville Boys Go to Camdenton for Soccer TourneyOctober 12, 2012 By Lisa Moody of Boonville High SchoolOn Friday, September 28, Boonville Boys Soccer hit the road to Camdenton for their first appearance in a new tournament. On Friday night they played their first game against Ozark, losing 5-0 after a very rusty start. Their next game took place the next morning on Saturday, September 29. Boonville took on a very beatable Crocker, but came up just short of a victory with a 2-1 loss. Things looked bad as they began their third and final game that night against the tournament’s home team, Camdenton. Things got worse as they played and just couldn’t get things together, losing 5-0. Varsity forward Cody Painter was asked how he thought the tournament went overall and replied, “Overall, our team worked together and improved as a team.”
