Home » Girls' Softball NewsGirls’ Softball Dominates Marshall at HomeSeptember 18, 2012 By Lisa Moody of Boonville High SchoolOn Tuesday, August 28th, the Lady Pirates JV and Varsity softball teams faced off against the Marshall Lady Owls in an intense home game. Both teams played hard, and both JV and Varsity came out victorious, with many great plays and freshmen making impressive, lasting impressions on the fans. Varsity won 11-0. “We played a good game. I just wish it had been a little harder,” commented JV Freshman Madolyn Stodgel. Freshman pitcher Michelle Surrat pitched her first most complete game that day. Junior Varsity also had an impressive win defeating the Owls 12-0. Their next game is Wednesday, September 5, at 5:00 p.m. at Smith-Cotton playing the Lady Tigers.
