Eight Join All-District Honor Choir

On Saturday, September 8, members of Mr. Bailey’s Pirate Singers and Chamber Choir went to Odessa High School to audition for All-District Honor Choir. This choir takes only the best members from the district of Central Missouri, making it an incredible honor to be chosen. Eight Boonville Choir Members were chosen and they are Sopranos, Seniors Stella Holland and Catalina Hagen, and Junior Taylor Tutin; Altos, Senior Ciera Harman and Junior Teresea Vierling; Tenors, Junior Matthew Adam Christal; and Basses, Senior Forrest Hage and Junior Brendan Twenter. “The best part of auditioning is getting it over with. It can be very nerve-wracking,” commented Senior Catalina Hagen. On Saturday, October 13, the lucky eight will spend the day in Sedalia preparing for the All-District Concert and will be able to audition for the next highest choir, All-State Honor Choir.
