Home » Girls' Volleyball NewsLady Bombers end losing streakSeptember 8, 2011 Ballard Memorial High SchoolSeptember 7, 2011 – Last night the Lady Bomber Volleyball team (9-6) beat the Mayfield Cardinals 25-8, and 25-15 in a two set matchup. Jade Tilford and Taylor Foster returned for the game, and played fantastic. They helped the offense with some monstrous kills. The back row also was a good asset with their passing and back row attacks. Both Cydnie Wiggins and Tori Bertram gained several points with Tori Bertram contributing a kill from the back row. Elizabeth Goodin was a good addition to this triple threat giving the team some "big time" serves. This win broke a four game losing streak for the Lady Bombers. The Bombers next game will be at Livingston Central on Thursday, September 9.
