Dear Friends, Former Players, and Sponsors,
The 2013 Northmont Thunder Classic Charity Golf Scramble that benefits the Northmont High School Boys and Girls Golf Programs and our NGPA (Northmont Golf Parent Association) Scholarship Fund is less than three weeks away.
We sincerely hope that you will consider helping out by signing up a foursome to play or consider sponsoring our event via financial contribution or merchandise for use as a raffle or door prize.
It is our mission to offer one the best golf scrambles in the miami valley. We continuously strive to provide fun on-course contests to add to the festivities of the day. Our outing is scheduled forSeptember 28th. The Buckeyes do not play until 8:00pm that night, so please do not let they hinder you from entering your team today.
With time running out, we need you to send in your sponsorship or team entry ASAP. Please note the mailing address on attached document. We have had a change in outing chairman this year. Please direct all correspondence to Mr. Scott Krizner.
Our post tournament meal will be held at Bolts restaurant in Englewood immediately following play on the 28th. That is where we will announce winners and hold our raffle. Food will be provided and is covered in your tournament entry fee.
A note from coach Hannahan:
My name is Nathan Hannahan. This is my third year as the varsity boys golf coach at Northmont. We are getting very excited for our upcoming charity outing that benefits the boys and girls golf teams as well as our scholarship funds. Our excitement is also met with a great sense of urgency. Our numbers are not yet where they need to be for players in our outing. Moss creek is a fantastic layout. We have and continue to secure numerous raffle prizes. We have contests for the par 3s and many other extras planned. We are even going to feed you afterward. What we need now is for you to dust off your clubs, call your buddies, and sign up to play! Can't find a foursome or need to add someone to your group - no problem! Sign up yourself and whoever you can get and we will help you fill your group. The time to enter is now. Please do not wait until the last minute. We have a fun-filled day planned and you truly do not want to miss out. Our boys and girls are working tirelessly to represent themselves, their school, and their community day in and day out on the golf course. This outing is the lifeline of support that ensures the success of our program in the future. Give us a call, shoot us an email, and please consider playing!
Our tournament organizer Mr. Scott Krizner is working with our NGPA members to put on an event that is sure to please and maintain the high standard that this outing has met for 16 years.
We look forward to seeing you on the links September 28th.
