Varsity and JV results for 8/20

The varsity boys competed today at the Greenville Invitational at Turtle Creek GC (formerly Greenville CC). The boys posted a team score of 383. The bolts were led by freshmen Shawn Richards and David Rowlands shooting 91 and 92. Both boys posted front nine scores of 43 as they continue to improve while gaining valuable varsity experience.   Tanner Hoskins and Clayton Swafford posted a score of 100. Alex Farlow shot 101. We look forward to a better team showing tomorrow in our first home match of the season against Xenia.  Bryce Timmons will rejoin the varsity lineup as our sixth man tomorrow at Moss Creek (tee time 4:00pm). 

The JV boys hosted Tipp City today at Moss Creek. The boys posted a team score of 174 to overcome their opponents in head to head competition. Dylan Greer led the JV squad with a score of 42. Bryce Timmons, playing down today because the varsity could only take five men to Greenville, posted 44. Greg Peffley and Luke Knapke both posted 44 as well. This was a fantastic showing for our JV squad. 

The competition is heating up for both teams and we look forward to another exciting playoff for the bottom two varsity spots this Friday.
