Promote the Vote Mock Election results are in!

Students in grades 9-12 participated in a Promote the Vote Mock Election on October 29.  It is a comprehensive voter education project sponsored by the Secretary of State's Office.  It includes a statewide mock election, student competitions, and a complete voter education curriculum.  All students from Mississippi schools in grades K-12 may cast ballots in the mock election.

Students selected:

President:  John McCain (R)
US Representative District 3:  Gregg Harper (R)
US Senator:  Thad Cochran (R)
Special Election US Senator:  Ronnie Musgrove
