I am proud of our guy’s efforts. After replacing five members off last year’s team I knew it was going to be a challenge to defend our titles. Damien’s last deadlift clinched his victory and our teams overall championship after he totaled more than the kid from Pelahatchie. Now we have a month to get ready for the State Championship meet in Jackson. It’s on April 13th. It’s going to be a tight race between five schools, Pelahatchie, Ethel, Smithville, Faulkner, and BC.
