This past Friday the Blue Jays jogged into the locker room with a small 17-14 lead at the half. The Blue Jays took the field with a purpose in the 2nd half outscoring the Bulldogs 50-7 behind the rushing of Kyle Summers, who set a single game school rushing record with 300 yards on 17 carries. The defense added to the excitement, as well, forcing four turnovers, with Dilon Bollmann returning an interception for a touchdown. With the 67-21 win the Varsity Blue Jays improved to 3-2 overall and 1-1 in conference.
