SB: Mississinewa ousts Blackford from Sectional, 7-1

  Blackford's season came to an end in the first round of Sectional play as the Bruins fell to Mississinewa 7-1. The Indians held Blackford to just four hits in the contest. Meanwhile, Mississinewa pounded out ten hits against a duo of Bruin throwers. The Bruins ended the campaign at 10-14.    More »

SB: Bruin pitching quiets Alexandria

  Emily Gardner and Katie Apple combined to limit Alexandria to just seven hits May 16 as Blackford edged in the Tigers 3-2 in CIC play. The Bruins plated a run in the seventh inning to claim the victory. Blackford had led 2-0 until the fifth when Alexandria scored two runs to tie.    More »
