BHS Jackets 2012 Banquet and Classic meeting

       Jackets 2012 banquet and classic meeting was held @ D.B. Bait & Tackle Friday May 25. Jackets started the meeting with Chaplain Luke Ferguson giving thanks, Fish fry was prepared by Dale Bailey, Brian Malys, Mike Hancock and Ken Singletary. Bass and Spec with hush puppies, BBQ beans, potato salad. The dinner was AWESOME!! After the feast the Jackets invited David Glenn from the TBF/ Winter Haven Lunker Lovers to give a presentation - Spinner Bait action on the Kissimmee Chain, giving spinner baits to the anglers. Next, Nancy & Buddy Thurow w/ Lee Lures of Fl. Distributors displayed Okuma rods and reels, Abu Garcia and Lews combos and gave the anglers $1,000. in tackle. Berkley tackle boxes, Gamblers Bait and Bass Assassin plastics. Angler Ryan Thomas picked up an Okuma reel at cost and won the BHS Jackets customized rod with the Jacket logo. It made a great combo!

       Jackets recognized Angler of the Year Luke Ferguson 85lbs, Co Angler of the year Mike Boswell 75lbs. 3rd overall Brian Malys 71lbs, 4th overall Dustin Bozeman 60lbs, 5th overall Cody Glowner 50lbs. 6th place CJ wright, 7th place Jeremy Peterson, 8th place Cody Malys, 9th place Tanner Smith, and 10th place Shane Hines.

        Jackets concluded the meeting with the Classic Tournament draw on the Kissimmee Chain Saturday May 26, Launch and weigh-in @ Camp Mack with special guest and weigh-in announcer FLW Pro Bobby Lane!
