Bluegrass State Games torch lighting ceremony at the Capitol

In Partnership with the Bluegrass State Games, the Journey to Wellness program will host the Tourism, Arts, and Heritage Cabinet's Get Healthy KY Bluegrass State Games torch lighting ceremony and 1-mile walk on Friday, July 24th at 10:30 AM in front of the Capitol. Commissioner of Parks, Gerry van der Meer will be kicking off the start of the Games by lighting the torch on behalf of the Tourism, Arts, and Heritage Cabinet's Get Healthy KY Bluegrass State Games and the Personnel Cabinet's Journey to Wellness program. Also in attendance will be Jared Fogle of Subway. The Bluegrass State Games undoubtedly assists the Journey to Wellness program in leading the way to a healthier Kentucky! |
