Obama Health Care is now in the Marketplace

March 28, 2014

Obama Health Care is now available. The intent of the Obama Health Care is to provide health insurance for those who do not have coverage at an affordable price.

It is impacting the way healthcare works in the U.S. and provides new ways to buy regulated, and possibly subsidized, health insurance.

Mrs. Vaughn, librarian at Byrnes Freshman Academy, said, “I heard a few things about the health care and the Obama care; I heard that if you don’t pay your health tax by March 30th 2014, that you have to pay more than what you were already paying.”

Mr. Tucker, ISS teacher at Byrnes Freshman Academy, said that ”there are more people who live on the side of the road needing money and jobs so yes I do think the finance are going down. I haven’t heard anything about the health care yet, but I’m sure I will be hearing things soon.”

Myianna Gist, student at Byrnes Freshman Academy, said, “I think the Obama is doing a great job with the health care.”

The Affordable Care Act, represented by the Health Insurance Marketplace, said, “Obama Care, the new health care reform law in America, increases the quality, availability and affordability of private and public health insurance to 44 million uninsured. The law also works to curb the growth in healthcare spending in the U.S., which has been rising at an unsustainable rate.”
