Coke Is More Than Just a Drink

Coca Cola is mainly used for drinking, but there is more uses for Coke that you might not know of.

If you have nothing around to clean a pot, Coke will do the trick! If a pot is blackened, you can pour Coke into the bottom and let it sit.  The Coke will lift off the crud, and then you would wash it as normal.

You can also remove stains from clothes using Coke.  Let the Coke soak the stain and then wash.

If you’re ever late to leave and your windshield is iced, you can pour a bottle of Coke on the windshield, and it will be easier to scrape off.   You can also use it on windows to remove dirt and grease.  However, in both cases, you now have the sticky Coke residue to deal with.

You can loosen bolts with Coke, because Coke will take the rust off of the metal.  You soak the rusted metals in Coke overnight and scrub it in the morning.  Coke does the same with battery corrosion and can help re-start your car.

 If you have heartburn or indigestion, you can use Coke.  It will temporarily relieve it by balancing the pH levels in your stomach.

If you ever get gum stuck in your hair, douse your hair with Coke and let it sit for a few minutes and then slowly pull the gum out of your hair. 

If you get a bee sting, jelly fish sting, or a mosquito bite, dab Coke onto the affected area, and it will reduce the pain.  When you get the hiccups, gargle Coke in your mouth, and it should cure your hiccups.

Most importantly, if you ever get sprayed by a skunk, jump into the shower with a Coke and pour it over where the skunk sprayed you.
