Spin Club Teammates Discuss the Preview Show

           The Dorman Cavaliers joined with the Byrnes Rebel Winter Guard to perform at a Preview Show Jan. 19, 2013 at 6:30 p.m., in the gym of Byrnes Freshman Academy (BFA).

           Rebecca Washington and Kira Sothered, Winter Guard teammates, commented on the first Winter Guard show.

            Rebecca Washington stated, “I do not feel like we are ready because our drills are not perfect yet.” 

            Sothered said, “We are not ready because we do not count, which makes us forget our dance moves.”  

             According to many spin club members, the Color Guard “Vets” were their most valuable people during the performance because they have more experience working with Christopher Moss, the director. 

            Accompanied by Dorman Junior Varsity, Dorman A, and Etude Winter Guard, Winter Guard Spin Club performed in front of friends and family to give them an idea of what each group was working on
