Opinion: Mothers Day

Mother’s Day is on May 13, 2012. This day is to celebrate what our mothers do for us.

The majority of countries that celebrate Mother's Day do so on the second Sunday of May.

I love Mother’s Day.  I think it is a time to celebrate what your mother has done for you.  I love my momma, and I appreciate her.

I think if you don’t have a mother, you at least have a mother figure.

When I go to get my mom something, I think how much money does she spend on me?  I always go cheap on other people’s gifts like birthdays and stuff like that.  But when it comes to my mom, there is no limit on money.  I have bought my mom shoes, jewelry and homemade things. She likes those best.

My mom is the only person who will always be there.

I love her very much, and I hope I never lose her.

I can only hope I could be half the mother she is to my children one day.

But I don’t plan on that, at least not any time soon.
