Bulldogs lose two in a row

Paramus, NJ- The Bergen's Baseball team loses two in a row. The skid gives the Bulldogs a 15-13 record. They need one more win too clinch a Region XIX playoff berth.
The Bulldogs lost at Westchester CC on Wednesday by the score of 11-6. Freshman first baseman, Anthony Urdaneta (West New York), hit a solo homerun, which was his first homer of his college career. Rafael Rives (Teaneck) goes 2-3 with a run scored and two stolenbases. Mathew Dawkins (Englewood) continues to be red hot going 2-4 with an RBI and a run scored
On Thursday, The bats for both teams were hot scoring 33 runs between Middlesex Colts and the Bergen Bulldogs. Bergen lost to Middlesex by the score of 20-13. Second baseman, James Donohue (Ridgefield Park) had a four hit game going 4-6 with two doubles, three runs, two RBI and a stolen base. Centerfielder, Matthew Dawkins, went 3-6 with a double, a triple, three RBI and two runs scored. First baseman, Kevin Benjamin (Fair Lawn) also had three hits going 3-6 with double, RBI and run scored. Outfielder, Matt Moschovas (East Rutherford) also joined the hit parade going 3-5 with an RBI and run scored.
The Bulldogs will now travel to Camden County College for a doubleheader on Saturday, April 27 starting at 12pm.
