Bulldogs Defeat Roadrunners 5-4

Paramus, NJ- The Bulldogs (6-1) pullout a big win versus Gloucester County College (10-3) this past Saturday.  Bergen won by the score of 5-4 versus the Roadrunners, which put The Bulldogs in sole possession of first place in the region with a 6-0 record.   Both teams were undefeated in the region before Saturday's match.   The Bulldogs have won six matches in a row.

 The Bulldog of the day was, David Selt (Creeskill), who in three sets and a tremendous tie breaker finish defeated Nick Louis (Woodbury NJ).  Both players were playing hard for the win, but the tie breaker was won 7-4 by Selt.  Coach Sal said "David's game was on point today and by far his best match of the year."  Bergen and Gloucester will meet again on Friday, April 25th at Bergen.

 2013 First Team All-Region, Kyle Fligel (Pompton Lakes) &, Eric Sapiro (Closter) continue to be undefeated in second doubles (7-0).  2013 Second Team All American, Ezio Cecere (Franklin Lakes) is still undefeated in 4th singles with a 7-0 record.

 Bergen's Men's Tennis team will now travel to Suffolk CC (8-3) on Monday, April 14 at 3:30pm
