Bergen Community College win at the Buzzer!

Paramus, NJ- Bergen Bulldogs (4-1) defeat Atlatic Cape CC (1-6) by the score of 63-62. The Bulldogs were down at halftime by 13 points.  Bergen made a comeback and took the lead in the last 2 minutes.  Atlantic Cape CC returned the favor and took the lead with 30 seconds left and stole the ball from Bergen on a cross court inbound pass.  After the steal, Atlantic passed the ball across the court to a wide open player underneath the basket.  Bergen's Ricky Carroll (Hackensack) had the play of the game when he hustled back and blocked the shot off the boards.  The ball returned to Bulldogs hands and Larry Buroughs nailed the two pointer to give Bergen the lead and the game. Sophomore, Paolo Trujillo (Dumont) had 12 assists.  Sophomore, Larry Burroughs (Paterson) had a wonderful game with 21 points and 13 rebounds.  Sophomore, Ricky Carroll (Hackensack) finished with 15 total points.  Freshman, Marquel Davis (East Rutherford) also contributed with 8 points.

The Bulldogs look to continue their winning ways when they face Queensborough County College on Wednesday, December 5 at 8:00pm at Bergen Community College.
