Bergen Community College ends their season in semifinals.

Paramus, NJ- Bergen Bulldogs reach the final four, but were defeated by #1 ranked Ocean C.C in the semifinals by the  score of 6-0.  For Bergen, it was their first trip to the final four in their history of women's soccer.  

The Bulldogs had finished in fifth place this season with a 6-4-1 Region/GSAC and an overall record of 7-7-1.  The team also made honorable mention in NJCAA national rankings and statistical national rankings.

National Individual Rankings

Goalie, Melanie Forenza (Rutherford) 47th in the nation with (7 goalie shutouts)

Individual Team Leaders:

Goals:  Joanne Tarkazikis (Bergenfield) and Natalie Valdivia  (Pequannock) tied with 6 goals.

Assists:  Genesis Benites (West New York) with (4 assists)

Total Points:  Joanne Tarkazikis (Bergenfield) and Natalie Valdivia  (Pequannock) tied with 15 points. Genesis Benites (West New York) with 12 points.

Offensive Honorable Mention: Aya Salah (Demarest) 4 goals and 1 assist and Victoria Smith (Dumont) 2 goals and 3 assists

Defensive Honorable Mention: Sara Ramirez (Leonia), Jenny Valdeon (Fort Lee) and Marissa Varon (Bogota).
