Bergen Community College knocked out of Region XIX Tournament

Paramus, NJ- Bergen C.C. Bulldogs were knocked out of Region XIX Tournament at home by #3 seed from the EPAC, Montgomery County Community College.  The match was very exciting and began with the Montgomery Mustangs winning the first two matches.  The Bulldogs push back and one the next two matches forcing a fifth and final match.  The fifth match was dead even at 7-7, when the Mustangs pulled away and cemented their trip to the final four at Northamton County College.  Congrats to the Bulldogs for representing Bergen Community College in the Region XIX tournament.  

The Bulldogs have finished in second place this season with a 6-2 Region/GSAC and an overall record of 11-9.  They finished seventh in the nation in hitting percentage. 

Individual Team Leaders:

Assists:  Monica Neira (Lodi) with 21 assists.

Kills: Kimlai Clark (Hackensack) with 15 kills.

Digs:  Gladis Oseguera (Lyndhurst) with 17 digs and Megan Marsico (Saddle Brook) with 14 digs
