Sophomore, Omar Sanchez (West New York) led the way with two goals. Paul Bancroft (Cresskill) also scored in the first half and Luciano Lagos (West New York) scored in the second half. Bulldogs had a tough season after a very successful participation in 2011 NJCAA National Tournament! They began the season ranked 15 in the nation, but were unable to repeat their entry into this year’s Region playoffs. Men’s Soccer finished in eighth place with a 4-8 record in the Region/GSAC conference and 5-9 overall. The team was ranked in the nation in goals scored and assists. National Team Rankings: 22th Goals scored (32) 30th Assists (15) National Individual Rankings Sophomore Omar Sanchez 15th in the Nation with 11 goals on the season The sophomores were honored with signed soccer balls by their teammates. The sophomores honored were Paul Bancroft (Cresskill), Omar Sanchez (West New York), Nicholas Duarte (Fort Lee) and Jorge Raigoza (North Bergen)
