Goals were scored by Sara Ramirez (Leonia), Genesis Benites (West New York), Aya Saleh (Demarest), Natalie Valdivia (Pequannock) and Joanne Tarkazikis (Bergenfield). We thank all of those who attended and supported our soccer team. The Bulldogs have finished in fifth place this season with a 6-4-1 Region/GSAC and an overall record of 7-7-1. They are waiting for the seeding meetings to see who they will face next week in the first round of the playoffs. A special thank you to our US Women’s Soccer Gold Medalist, Carli Lloyd, who played soccer at Rutgers University with our Head Women’s Soccer Coach Colleen Caldwell. Carli autographed the soccer balls for our sophomore women’s soccer players. Those sophomores that were recognized were Tina Cordova (Clifton), Christine Siwulich (Bergenfield), Jennifer Londino (Wood-Ridge) and Michel Zaken (Fairlawn).
