Overtime win for the Bulldogs!

Paramus, NJ - The Bulldogs faced Raritan Valley CC at home on Thursday.  Sophomore Omar Sanchez (West New York) scored the first goal of the game in the tenth minute to put Bergen ahead 1-0.  Raritan Valley returned with another goal in the 35 minute of the first half.  There were many exciting chances in the second half for both teams to break the tie.  The game went to overtime, when a penalty outside the box was charged to Raritan Valley. Freshman Juan Lorza (Bergenfield) was given the opportunity to score the winning shot in the 110 minute.  Lorza's shot stayed on the ground and past a line of defenders to give the Bulldogs a very important win heading into the weekend.

The Bulldogs will now face visiting Ocean County College on Saturday, October 29 beginning at 12p.m.  Go Bulldogs!!!
