Base: Patriots battle past North Putnam

The Patriots exploded for six runs in the fourth inning May 20 to break a 1-1 tie and go on to down North Putnam 8-3. The outburst backed a solid performance on the mound by Tyler Sims. He went the distance scattering seven hits and striking out seven to gain the win. Drew Bennett was 2 for 3 at the plate and drove in a pair of runs for Bethesda.
