University Wins Sectional #58 Title; Lady Patriots Populate All-Sectional Teams

The Lady Trailblazers from University High School won the Sectional #58 crown tonight at Bethesda Christian School. The Lady Trailblazers held off the hard-charging Lady Tigers from Charles A. Tindley Accelerated School for a thrilling 32-30 victory to clinch the sectional title.

Also announced tonight were the All-Sectional First and Second teams, as selected by the coaches. Making First Team All-Sectional were Hannah Ringler (Bethesda), Cassie Mitchell (Bethesda), TraciAnn Hoglind (Indiana Deaf), Terrace Clark (Tindley), Antianna Terrell (Tindley) and Hannah Meinen (University).

The Second Team included Aubree Trapp (Bethesda), Deja Small (Fall Creek), Jasmine Jeter (Indiana Deaf), Kate Fetzer (Indiana Deaf), Erin Bammann (International), Kelley Burger (International), Emma Haschel (International) and Cassidy Stow (University).

University now moves on to next Saturday's Regional #15 at Southwestern (Shelbyville).
