Home » Boys' Soccer NewsBroncos Boys Soccer vs. Ranson 3/18/13March 19, 2013 Bailey Middle School![]() The Broncos had to wait until the 15th minute for their FIRST goal today. Daniel Steedman returned a first time volleyed pass into the path of striker Savon Braithwaite to slot home the opener. Two minutes later Savon returned the compliment for Steedman to put in goal number two. The Bailey Boys team is showing real team chemistry, which is very pleasing to Coach Uglehus. AJ Whisenant scored TWO goals within 2 minutes at the 20 minute mark assited by Daniel Steedman and a powerful solo run. From strong play off Jonathon Garcia being fouled in the box, captain Roman Uglehus scored the FIRST goal of his hatrick from the penalty spot. Daniel Steedman scored his brace from a volley making it 6-0 at half-time. The boys came out strong looking to put this game to rest as the weather really looked threatening above. Roman Uglehus made it lucky number seven after a delightful cross from Jack Smith on the right. The boys had made some great plays with overlaps and continuous ball movement throughout the game and was to be admired. Such was the epitome of their 8th goal as Matt Baer slipped a splitting pass through to Savon Braithwaite to notch home for his brace. Roman Uglehus finished the game off in style within 7 minutes of the beginning of the second half to make it 9-0 to your Bailey Boys Soccer team starting their season 3-0.
Coach Uglehus would like to send a special Thank You to the parents who braved the weather this evening and Congratulations to the boys for a magical performance.
