Panthers Win Homecoming Game

     On Friday night the Augusta Panthers were back at home to face the Robertson County (Deming) Black Devils on Homecoming night.  A big crowd was treated to a dominating Augusta performance.  The Panthers jumped out early on the Black Devils prompting 3 timeouts for the visitors.  Augusta led 18-6 after 1 quarter.  Robertson County never threatened in the game as the Panthers rolled to victory, 77-59.  Tanner Kelsch led all scorers with 18 points.  Also reaching double figures for the 15-7 Panthers were Trenton Barrett with 15, Brent Bach with 14, 13 for Connor Maddox and 11 for Camryn Snapp.     

"It's good to get a win again, at home, in front of a big crowd," said Coach Hinson, "I thought we moved the ball well and worked good as a team tonight."

Scoring vs. Robertson County:  Kelsch 18, Barrett 15, Bach 14, Maddox 13, Snapp 11, Archibald 4, Conn 2
