Panthers Defeat Lloyd Memorial

     Augusta was back in action at home on Friday night facing the Lloyd Juggernauts.  The fast paced start was right up the Panthers' alley as they raced out to a 23-17 lead after 1 quarter.  Augusta picked up the defense in the 2nd quarter holding Lloyd to only 8 points.  The Panthers were up 43-25 at the break.  Lloyd would outscore Augusta in the second half but not even to come close to a challenge as the Panthers rolled to their 11th victory against only 4 losses, 72-57.  Brent Bach led all scorers with 28 points.  Tanner Kelsch added 21 and Camryn Snapp chipped in 14.      

"I thought we played better tonight, it was a good team win," said Coach Hinson.
