Augusta's next stop would find them in Brooksville a day after Christmas for the Bracken County Holiday Classic. The first opponent would be the Iroquois Raiders. Augusta got off to another slow start and the Raiders took advantage and took a 13-7 lead after one quarter. Iroquois speed and pressure wrecked havoc on the Panthers. That continued into the 2nd quarter as Iroquois seemed to be unable to miss. Especially shooting guard Devon Johnson. He led all scorers at the break with 16 points. The Panthers found themselves down 36-19 at intermission. In the 3rd quarter it would get worse before it got better as the Raiders took their largest lead of the night at 51-30. But Augusta, well-known for their comeback abilities, would close the quarter on an 8-2 run that made it 53-38. The Panthers run continued on throughout the 4th quarter as Augusta took their first lead of the night, 64-63, with only seconds remaining. Iroquois had a chance late to retake the lead but turned the ball over and Augusta would finish off the win, 66-63. Augusta improved to 8-3 led by Brent Bach's 35 points. Those 35 points would help Brent achieve a career milestone. Bach became the 22nd Panther to eclipse the 1,000 point mark. Congratulations to Brent on this accomplishment. Camryn Snapp added 12 points and Tanner Kelsch dropped in 11.
Scoring vs. Iroquois: Bach 35, Snapp 12, Kelsch 11, Freeman 4, Maddox 2, Crawford 2
On the second day of the tournament the Augusta Panthers matched up with the West Carter Comets. The Panthers led for most of this game but it was no walk in the park. West Carter fought hard throughout continuing to battle back each time Augusta would take a double digit lead. The Panthers led at each quarter break and won their 2nd straight game, 76-65. With the win the Panthers improved to 9-3 and 2-0 in tournament pool play. Tanner Kelsch led the Panthers with 17 points. He was joined in double figures by Connor Maddox with 16, Brent Bach with 15 and Camryn Snapp with 14.

Augusta's Friday opponent would be the Boone County Rebels. The slow starting Panthers found themselves in a hole early on as the Rebels jumped out in front 8-2. Boone County owned the 1st quarter as they led 17-10 going into the 2nd. Augusta got rolling in the 2nd as some foul trouble and Panther full court pressure helped get the team back in the game. Augusta did not lead at the break but took momentum into the lockerroom as Brent Bach drained a deep 3-pointer at the buzzer to make it 34-33. In the 3rd quarter the tight battle continued as each team scored 11 points making it 45-44 going into the 4th. In the final 8 minutes the Panthers just ran out of gas as Boone County took a lot of time off the clock with each possession and hit free throws down the stretch to defeat the Panthers, 59-51. The loss dropped Augusta to 9-4. Brent Bach led the Panthers with 21 points. Connor Maddox joined him in double figures with 14.
Scoring vs. Boone County: Bach 21, Maddox 14, Kelsch 5, Snapp 5, Freeman 3, Barrett 3
