Nearly tweny players arrived and went through some tough vigorous drills. Coach Duck explained that he was seeking players that were in top shape who are ready to play immediately. "All of the players showed they had potential but their were a few that stood out above the rest," said Richards. Like former Alabama State University point guard Jeff Middlebrook. Because of the Atlanta Aliens "Run & Gun" style, Richards was very impress with Middlebrook's quickness, ball handling skills and condition. Another player that stood out was Cameron Morris from Georgia State University. He has great size, played physical and could run with ease. Two other players, Courtney Mack and Justin Hall are some undersized players for the post position but Coach Duck is interested in trying them at other positions because they were very athletic. All four of these players were invited to return and workout with the team so that their skills can be measured on the court with other veteran ball players. There were other good ball players like Diedrick King and Julian Butler that did well during the scrimmage but unfortunately they were not in shape to pass the conditioning drills. The following players attended the Atlanta Aliens Free Agent Tryout camp Saturday, February 9, 2013. Julian Butler Courtney Mack Kadarius Donaldson Diedrick King Justin Cummings Tramain Butler Justin Hall Jeff Middlebrook Michael Lindsey James Steadman Anthony Brown Robert Bishop Rodricus Smith Mark Bowden Abdul Muhammad
