Atlanta Aliens Nabs Another Great Player

After loosing former Division-1 player SG Steven Cunningham (Troy University) to injury, GM/Head Coach Duck Richards wasted no time to fill in the vacant space. The Atlanta Aliens signed former Division-1 player SG Charvez Davis 6'3 200lbs from University of Alabama. Charvez, originally from Montgomery, Alabama graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management 2011. He lead Alabama as one of their best pure 3'point shooters.

Charvez arrives to the Atlanta Aliens after spending time recently with the Texas Legends of the NBADL in Frisco, Texas under Head Coach Eduardo Najera. The Texas Legends is a NBADL team loaded with NBA players like Jared Cunningham, who is on loan to the team from Dallas Mavericks and Chris Douglas-Roberts from the Los Angelas Lakers. Charvez is on the standby list from the Texas Legends and subject to return back at anytime upon their request. "In the mean time, we are going to keep him ready for action with the Aliens," said Richards.

The Atlanta Aliens are well known by NBADL teams. Richards along with assistant coach Wesley Graves were both training coaches for the NBADL Bakersville Jam. Charvez is now teamed up with other Aliens with NBADL experience such as Marquis Gilstrap, high caliber Michael Sloan and NBA prospect Rashad Faust. Charvez will see his first action as an Aliens this weekend when the team travels to Greenville, SC to play against the Greenville Galaxy.
