Tough Break For Atlanta Aliens

The Atlanta Aliens ABA professional basketball team received a tough break after their victory Saturday night. After performing in the best game of this season against Palmetto State Rizers, Steven Cunningham (20 points, 12 rebounds, 4 high flying dunks) will be out indefinitely due to a broken leg. Cunningham was at his home town in Birmingham, Alabama conducting his daily workout routine while playing basketball. According to his father Steven Cunningham Sr, the younger Cunningham under went surgery to repair the injury.

"This is very unfortunate and a hughe blow to our team," said Duck Richards, GM/Head Coach of the Atlanta Aliens. "We will constantly keep him lifted in prayer and hope for a speedy recovery." The young Cunningham was a vital member of Richards "Goon Squad." A unit that comes off the bench with force, agggression and intensity that changes the game momentum.

Cunningham came to Atlanta Aliens after playing four years of Division-1 basketball with Troy University
