Unfortunately, these players are no strangers to Richards. After the Atlanta Experience ABA season ended, Duck Richards who was the team GM/Head Coach, sought out to keep his players playing in other leagues. He connected with GM/Head Coach Fernando Rojas of the Tampa Bay Rebels in the FBA and provided him with four of his quality players, #9-Tim Ware (25.9 ppg, 6.3 rebs), #12-Shun Watson (18.9 ppg, 5.7 rebs), #6 Anjuan Wilderness (18.4 ppg, 6.5 rebs), #5-Matt Kendrick (16.9 ppg, 12.3 rebs), Alonzo Davis (7.3 ppg and 7.1 rebs). The Tampa Bay Rebels won the 2012 Florida Basketball Association Championship by defeating the Heartland Prowl 131-106. The first half ended with the Rebels 58 and Prowl 51. But the Rebels had a great third quarter, scoring 43 points and securing the win for the home team. Tim Ware, Alonzo Davis and Emmanuel Jackson also received 2012 ABA Championship Rings with Jacksonville Giants after Giants GM/Head Coach Kevin Waters added them to his roster for the remaining of the season.
