Each week PrepsKC.com will be your exclusive home to the poll in the Kansas City Metro. The preseason poll for this year has a few surprises along with some defending state champions picking up right where they left off. Rockhurst and Lee’s Summit West are both unanimous choices for first place in their respective classes. Webb City is also back in the No. 1 spot after winning a title in 2010. Logan-Rogersville grabbed the No. 1 ranking but four other teams received first-place votes led by Maryville with six votes. The Spoofhounds are ranked second with defending Class 3 champion Richmond coming in third. Class 2 is led by Macon followed by Maplewood-Richmond Heights and defending champion Hamilton-Penney.
