Lady Huskies Sweep East Wilkes

The Ashe County JV and Varsity volleyball teams played host to the East Wilkes Cardinals on Wednesday, October 21. This was the last regular season match of the season and it was also Senior Night for 7 young ladies. The Huskies played great volleyball and won both matches.
The Huskies won the JV match 2 games to zero. In the varsity match, Ashe County played outstanding volleyball and beat a very good East Wilkes team 3 games to zero.
The 7 seniors and their parents were recognized before the match; Hillary Bowlin, Chloe Craine, Caitlin Elliott, Randall Joines, Brittany Lyalls, Paige Matheson and Jessica Walker. |
