Bardstown overcame a 35 posted by Eagle golfer James Dawson to edge Bethlehem by two strokes Monday and win a tri-match.
The Tigers finished with a four-player total of 165 to take the match over the Eagles (167) and Green County (173).
Dawson\'s 35 was the individual high score in the match, just beating out Bardstown\'s Logan Edelen\'s 36. Green County\'s Grayson Bills had the next-best score with a 38.
Corey Hall posted a 40 for Bardstown, followed by Brandon Hall (43) and Clayton Brooks (46).
Bethlehem got a 42 from Nick Conway, and Lewis Seeger (44) and Kelly Mouser (46) were among the top finishers for the Eagles.
Also participating for Bardstown were John Shrewsbury (51), Nick Hall (57), Keaton Hall (47) and Tyler Thompson (49). Participating for Bethlehem were Devin Cahoe (52), Chris Conway (57), Holden Willett (53) and Kamien Kannaple (47).
Lenox takes KSGA Senior Am
Mike Lenox fired a 141 to win overall honors in the Kentucky Senior Golf Association\'s Senior Amateur Championship, held Monday and Tuesday at Bardstown Country Club at Maywood.
Playing out of the 55-59 flight, Lenox\'s 141 gross score beat out Vaughan Jones\' 143.
Ron Worf, playing out of the 60-64 flight, was the overall net champion with a 120.
