2008 Pre-season practice

The tennis team will be comprised of only one senior (Ariel Martin), as she and junior (Diana Phanthalack) will battle for the number one seed position. Both Martin and Phanthalack are very talented in both singles and doubles. With their talent and work ethics, I see both Martin and Phanthalack being strong contender's for a conference championship in singles and or doubles. Returning junior, Casey DeVane, and sophomore Morgan Burns will be playing in the third and fourth seed positions respectively. The fifth and sixth seeds our still up for grabs, which includes returning juniors Jennifer Vassey, Hunter Summitt, sophomores Kimberly Luangrath, and Brandie Penner, and freshmen Elizabeth Baker, Anna Griffin, Morgan Weeks, and Emily Peeler.

I'm serving in my first year as head coach of the girl's tennis program.

Note: Our upcoming matches this week are against the following:

Tuesday, August, 26th (opponent is Cherryville) - at KMHS tennis courts

Wednesday, August, 27th (opponent is Crest) - at KMHS tennis courts

Thursday, August, 28th (opponent is Ashbrook) - at KMHS tennis courts

* These matches will start at 4:00pm
