2007-2008 Ashland (KY) Sports Medicine Banquet Awards

Ashland (KY) Sports Medicine Banquet Held Saturday May 24th, 2008

The students and staff of the athletic training/sports medicine program of Ashland Blazer High School held their annual banquet Satuday afternoon at River Cities Fellowship Hall in Ashland. Here are this years award winners:

Garner Robinson Excellence In Athletic Training (GREAT) Award:
                                 Katelyn Rigsby
Academic Award (Highest GPA): Kristian Rigsby
(6 of our 8 active students have above a 3.0 GPA)
Premier Physical Therapy Scholarship ($500): Myca Belcher
The Burt Dailey Scholarship and the Linda Stewart Scholarship were not awarded this year.

Sports Medicine Olympics Winners Were Presented

Thank You Awards Were Given To These Adult Volunteers: Jeanie Stadelmeyer, David Apts PT, David Delaney PTA

Gifts were presented to all student athletic training moms in attendance, and the head table center piece was given away in a drawing to the Longs.

Gifts were also presented to all three of our graduating seniors.

Banquet Thank You's: Marty Gute and The River Cities Fellowship, Premier Physical Therapy, Mark Swift and Derek Runyon, Mr. Long, Mr. and Mrs. Viores,
 Mr. Kym Rigsby, and Mrs. Jeanie Stadelmeyer. (Jeanie, we could not have held this banquet with out your hard work, decorating, shopping, and cleaning up. Thank You)
