Dear Friends,
As most of you know, our son Dustin Sanders was diagnosed with Hodgkin\'s Lymphoma in November of 2007 and relapsed in June of 2008. As we\'ve gone through his treatment, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) has helped our family by sending money to refund our parking and gas as we drive now almost daily to Texas Children\'s Hospital for Dustin\'s treatment. This society also provides funds to families to pay for hotels, food, and treatment. We are lucky to live within 30 miles of the hospital, but some families travel from all over the world to seek treatment for their children. In honor of our son and to help repay the kindness and generosity of this organization, my husband Karl is participating in the Chevron Houston Marathon in January 2009 committing to run 26.2 miles while raising funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) as a participant in their Team In Training program and I\'m asking you to help him by making a donation to his fundraising campaign.
If you are interested in making a tax deductible donation, please use the link in this email to donate online quickly and securely plus learn more about his progress. You will receive a confirmation of your donation by email and I will be notified as soon as you make your donation.

Each donation helps accelerate finding a cure for leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. More than 823,000 Americans are battling these blood cancers. We are hoping that his participation in Team In Training will help bring them hope and support.
On behalf of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, thank you very much for your support. We greatly appreciate your generosity.
P.S. I would appreciate it if you would forward this story to as many people as you can to encourage them to donate as well. Thanks again.
