At the NKAC Boys Golf Tournament at A.J. Jolly Golf Course, Monday, Covington Catholic seniors Mickey Sutton and Alex Ammerman, and Boone County sophomore Carter Hibbard finished the tournament tied with the low rounds of two-over par 73. On the second playoff hole, Hibbard birdied to win the individual NKAC championship. The playoff for runner up went four more holes with Sutton winning on the sixth playoff hole. In team action, Covington Catholic returned to the top of the NKAC with a very impressive team score of 299 for the Division I championship. In Division II, Holy Cross defeated St Henry in a team playoff, after both teams shot 330. Villla Madonna took the Division III championship with a solid 316. Team Results Division I: 1. Covington Catholic 299, 2. Cooper 311, 3. Ryle 312, 4. Conner 326, 5. Boone County 329, 6. Campbell County 342, 6. Dixie Heights 342, 8. Simon Kenton 380, 9. Scott 388. Division II: 1. Holy Cross 330, 2. St. Henry 330, 3. Newport Central Catholic 340, 4. Highlands 341, 5. Bishop Brossart 349. Division III: 1. Villa Madonna 316, 2. Beechwood 326, 3. Heritage Academy 449, 4. Bellevue 469, 5. Silver Grove 495.
