In the first round of the state tournament, the Lady Mustangs beat Providence High School 15-9. Moving into the second round Myers Park took on fifth seeded Green Hope but was unable to overcome a strong offensive play by Green Hope 12-18. The Lady Mustangs end their season 13-4 with their highest end of season ranking and state tournament seeding ever! Post season honors for the Lady Mustangs are beginning to roll in: *Invitation to play in the NC All Stars Game: Ashley Zwier *NC Western Conference All-Conference Team: Carly Elliot, Ashley Zwier, Katie Zwier, Mary Ellen Goode, Cate Auerbach, Mallie Salerno and Abigail Harris. *Invitation to play in Charlotte Lacrosse Boosters All-Star Game: Emily Caldwell |
