West Charlotte High's Christal Caldwell and Stateville High's Keyrra Gillespie, both NCPrep.comp and AP 1st team All-State selections, are expected to play for the West team.  A University of Florida signee, Caldwell averaged 17 points per game her senior season, leading West Charlotte High to its first state championship. Gillespie, who averaged 14 points and 10 assists her senior season at Statesville High, has signed with Clemson University.

They will be joined by AP All-State 2nd team selections Anna Freeman of East Davidson High, Eleisha Hairston of Reidsville High, and Nikki Burton of West Charlotte High.  Parkland High's Jazmin Cromartie, Butler High's Celeste Stewart, and Dudley High's Helen Terry, all fellow NCPrep.com All-State selections, are also expected to play.
