Lady Mustangs Finish 5th Overall @ State Track Meet

PD Elliott place in four out of five events to pace the Lady Mustangs to a fifth place finish at the 5A state meet in Paragould.  Elliott placed in the long jump, high jump, shot put and 1600 meter relay.  April Terry placed the highest on the day for CAC with a third place performance in the shot put.  Her toss of 36' 11 ½ "set a new school record and qualified her, along with Elliott, to the Meet of Champs.  Jessica Lieblich, Larkin Hatcher, Haley Hatcher, and Sara Ann Gill who took fourth in the 3200 meter relay.  Paige Almond placed eighth in the 400 meters.  Gill also placed fifth in the 800 meters.  Emma Word, Elliott, Lieblich, and Almond placed fourth in the 1600 meter relay.  CAC scored 36 team points with 16 of those coming from Elliott.
