Apollo Tennis Splits Team Matches With Muhlenberg County

Last night, the Apollo boys and girls tennis teams split a home match with visiting Muhlenberg County. 

The boys had 3 varsity players out last night and lost with a score of 7-2.   Austin Richards dominated at #1 singles with a win of 6-2,6-0, Austin/Jared Richards also won at #1 doubles.  

The JV winners were Drake Noweiler, Chris Stuerzenberger/Ryan Ash, Kaleb Lewis/Lex Smith.  Great job boys!!!

 The Apollo girls represented well last night with a score of 8-1 over the Lady Mustangs!  The single winners were Taylor Wathen, Taylor Sevy, Erin McNeil, Emily McNeil and Elizabeth Clayton.  Our Lady Eagles swept doubles with wins by Erin and Emily McNeil, Taylor Sevy/Sydney Ellis and Elizabeth Foster/Annie Zheng.  Girls you ROCK!!!!!

 The girls JV team dominated last night also with wins by Morgan Nation/Olivia Wright, Lexina Patel/Kamira Riley, Brooke Ellis/Madison Chapman, Savanah Kennedy/Brianna McManus, Morgan Bratcher/Jamie Moore, Zoe Austin/Kaleigh Cravens, Kiera Hawkins/Katie Miller and Jenna Payne/Paige Hughes.

 Apollo is scheduled to play Catholic on Thursday, March 21.  Go Eagles!
