The Varsity won the 7AAA Section Championship on Saturday night! Congrats to the girls and thanks to everyone who came to St. Francis to watch the game against Elk River.

We received the third seed and play Cretin-Derham-Hall at 11am on Thursday at the Excel Center in St. Paul. We will play at 11am on Friday whether we win or lose.Tickets are $14 for adults and $9 for students for a game pass or $22 for adults and $15 for students for a day pass.

Permission slips will be coming home tonight for students to be excused from school after first hour and return by the end of the school day. The bus cost $5.00 per day. Students turn their permission slips in at the concession stand near the gym before school and pay for the bus then. Tickets for the game are purchased at the Excel Center.

I hope you will consider allowing your daughter to attend and be a part of the experience:)

On a different note-The banquet is on Wednesday, Nov. 16 at Majestic Oaks. It is usually a very nice awards banquet and really the last hurrah for every team. I realize that we all have a lot going on, but I hope your daughter will take the time to attend the banquet. For parents who plan to come after dinner, the awards start at approx. 7:00PM.

There are additional opportunities for players to add to their 30 hour initiative. Please contact me if you are interested. I will have some inventory and cleaning up to do after this weekend.

We are bagging groceries at Riverdale Cub on Dec. 30 from 9am to 7pm. These hours can be used for this season or next or split between the two. Go to the web site to register to work a two hour shift or even more than one shift. Cub only allows students/players to bag and one adult per shift.

Thanks for everything you do to help our program thrive!
