Anderson used quick starts in each half to engineer the victory. The tribe blasted M-G 17-6 in the first quarter and then provided a 17-9 drubbing in the third period. Anderson placed three players in double figures led by Darien Thompson with 13 points.
The Indians then returned to the court the next night to thump Elwood 68-46 and set up a showdown with Pendleton heights for the Madison County Tourney title. Charice Jones had 14 points to lead the way versus the Panthers.
