Stairway to Seven

November 9, 2010
By Paris Chrisman of Alcoa High School

The Tornadoes defeated Sweetwater 49-0. They did a really good job with running the ball. They control the speed of the game and played well on the defensive side. During the game, Coach Rankin put many sophomores in the game and freshmen as well. Malik Love, freshman, was able to get a taste of the game and play. Sophomores, Landon Turbyfill and Jordan Ferguson played well together. Turbyfill passed Ferguson the ball in the end zone, but Ferguson missed the catch the first time. The next play was exactly the same and Ferguson had the ball and made a touchdown for the team. During each touchdown, Alcoa High School blew fireworks. Many people who didn't attend the game because of weather conditions could hear it from their houses and celebrated in their own home. Stay with the Alcoa Tornadoes as they march onward to victory.
