Mar 1---There will be a Gospel and Bluegrass Benefit Singing Saturday March 1st at 5pm at the Natural Bridge Multi-Purpose Community Center on Hwy 13 north of the 4-Way stop with Wayne Horton & Harmony Ridge and The Calvary Quartet. There will also be a Bean Dinner. Proceeds go to their Storm Shelter Fund

Mar 6---The Hubbertville Lion's Club will sell Swamp John's dinners Thursday March 6th 4-7pm at the Hubbertville Pavilion. Plates will be $10. You can eat there or carry them with you. Advance tickets are available from any Lion's Club member in Hubbertville or at B & M Grocery. All proceeds will support the Hubbertville Lion's CLub with awarding scholarships to graduating seniors and to assist with community projects

Mar 15---The Annual Community Fundraising Event for the Kirkland-Bluff-Wayside Volunteer Fire Department will be held at the Kirkland Community Center Saturday March 15th, 4-8pm featuring Catfish Fillet / Chicken Finger Dinner for $8 per plate. A Cake Walk will be at 6:30. Also there will be Cash Raffles. All proceeds go for the operation of the fire department
Mar 19---The Marion County Domestic Violence Task Force will host a Swamp John's Fundraiser on Wednesday March 19th from 3-6pm in the Cash Saver Parking lot in Hamilton. Plates will be $10 and tickets will not be sold ahead of time. Funds raised will go to support Marion County DOmestic Violence Task Force and Safeplace projects

Apr 11---The AARP Tax Aid Volunteers will be preparing tax returns again this year at the Fayette Civic Center. This year we are taking appointments, and our first day will be Friday January 31st.
